Okay so I got this little plugin called u comment I follow and it is a pretty nifty idea. It basically takes off the no follow thing so bots will then index your comments. You may be wondering what’s the big deal about that, well if you comment on someone’s site bots come to that site and index it and see your link to your site which then increases your page rank and your authority on Technorati. I have been using it awhile and still not sure if it is working correctly. I have commented on other people’s sites and have not gotten any incoming links from the comments I left on their site. I also do not know if people get incoming links from their comments on my site. I’m wondering if the plugin even works, or if you have to manually install it in the code in order to make it work. Or if people did not give the plugin full 777 rights so it can write the code in the correct place. I have given the plugin 777 right when I activated it so please if you leave a few comments on my site and do not get any incoming links to yours from your comment please let me know and I will either fix the plugin or manually insert the code in the correct place.
Seems to be working, the only thing is you won’t see when it happens. Kind of a behind the scenes type of thing.
