More Lip Dub

Saturday, July 28th, 2007

Several weeks ago my friend sent me a video of a group of people that did a lip dub video and I thought it was very good and interesting, and I even found another one that was also good. Well now I found another cool one, may not be as good as the last one but I think the song choice fits her life just perfect.

Julia Attempts to Lip Dub Fergie’s Glamorous While Driving from Julia Allison and Vimeo

As you can tell it is Glamorous by Fergie. It really is not a great song, but has a catchy tune

to it, plus the video description says she is on her way to a polo match in the Hamptons, and for all of you who don’t know where that is, it is in New York where all the rich people live, for example Steven Spielberg the director has a mansion up there along with many celebrities. Also she is driving a convertible Mercedes, a classic chick ride.**Update**

Forgot to say that I think she did a great job at lip dubbing this song.

Great Video Host?

Saturday, July 28th, 2007

Hey everyone, hows it going?

Anyways as the title reads I’m looking for a great video hosting site, and yes I know of YouTube, but to me Youtube just gets annoying since it has so many users that just b$%ch about every thing and get mad at other comments and stuff, also I’m not into all the copyrighted stuff on it, some are hilarious and YouTube said they are working out something to stop basically all stolen content from even getting on their servers, who knows if it will even work.

So basically I am looking for a video hosting site that has a great community on it, it doesn’t have to be a large community either. Some sites that I have been looking through are: Revver, Vimeo, and Viddler. I am also open to others, so if you have any personal experience on any of those sites or others and like to share please do, because I would love to know what you think about your video hosting sites.

Thanks for all those that reply.

The Simpson’s Movie In Theaters

Friday, July 27th, 2007

Well the day has finally arrived, the day that will change the world as we know it, the day when the Simpson’s get their own movie!

I’ve been watching the Simpson’s series for some time now and they have never disappointed me, except when I had to wait between seasons, but that is not bad, plus I could just watch Futurama. Anyways the day is finally her when our favorite past time, our favorite cartoon family is on the big silver screen. I personally have not seen it yet, but I will very soon, and have no clue what to expect from the movie except what the series had to offer but 10x better since they can do so much more in a movie than on TV even though they were on Fox. It is going to be good, it is going to be hilarious, it is going to be a must see movie of the summer along with “Transformers” and “I Now Pronounce Chuck & Larry”, so you must see them all because they are just so good.

Here is one of the trailers for the movie to get you all pumped up.

The Kill Point

Friday, July 27th, 2007

There is a new TV show that was first aired last wee and it is called “The Kill Point”, it is on Spike TV, for you Cox readers out there thats channel 29, and for the rest you should all know cause it is Spike. For the ones that have yet to see this great show it is basically a group of guys returned home after serving their country in Iraq and come home to crap so they decide to pull off a great bank heist and well it goes bad. And that right there is where the series starts.

This show right here is amazing. There is always something going on, Fedz trying to get in and take hostages, the robbers trying to stay alive and trying to figure out how to get free, theres just always something dramatic, or action filled. I must also say the actors and actresses are pretty damn good, you just have to watch it and see for yourself.

After seeing the first episode and found out the name of it I realized that I have been seeing the making of it before on someone else’s blog site, she does not show much of the making but some funny behind the scenes clips. And the person I am talking about is the internet  aka Justine, or iJustine if you must. First I was wondering how she got in, but then I watched the show and on the news station in the show it has Pittsburgh in the bottom of the TV, and I was like wow, thats cool, and she lives probably right near where they were filming it. Anyways she has many videos and here is my favorite of the ones she shares.

She has plenty more, and diffidently more hilarious little fun clips, for example she has one where she steals and tries on a fireman’s boots and puts them back, and one where she steals a kids happy meal toy, shes a meany. :lol And oh yeah I can’t forget the Mario guy, very funny interview.

So for more videos check out Justine’s blog site.

Oh and Justine if you stop by, great video editing!

Chuck & Larry Number 1!

Monday, July 23rd, 2007

Well the weekend is over and the numbers are in and who got number one? If you read the title you already know the answer to that, if not well then it was non other than the hilarious movie “I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry”. Chuck and Larry was released Friday, 7/20, and just over the weekend made $34.2M beating the new Harry Potter movie by about $2M.

I personally was able to see it today, was going to go see it the first day it was released but I got there late and it was sold out, sold frickin out on a later show, I was so pissed, but o well it made me happy that other people love Adam Sandler movies as well, and I got to go see it today. :) Since I finally got to go see it I must say it deserved every penny it made this weekend, and probably even more. Anyways I hope it will continue being number 1 over the next few weekends, but I don’t see that happening for at least the August 3rd weekend since the new Bourne movie is set to be released which to me looks like a kickass movie. Also if you have not gone to see this movie yet you totally need to, it is a hilarious movie with no dull moments at all in it, it always keeps you laughing, but nothing over used, they keep moving on to a new joke. I will have more about this movie in my review.

Happy B-Day To…

Monday, July 16th, 2007

…ME!!! Yeah today is my b-day. I guess it is all right, nothing spectacular, but I feel like this every holiday, I never seem to get too enthused about stuff.

I’m not sure what I am going to do today, may go see a movie like “Knocked Up” since I don’t have to sneak in anymore :) , and then I don’t know what, I guess I’ll just be out for the day. But I will update at least one more time today because I want to psyche everyone up for a movie that I can’t wait for it to come out, and to me the most intisipated movie of the summer. It is… Well I’ll just have you all wait. But I will give you all a hint and you can guess in the comments. The hint is that it has been awhile since he has made a real comedy, and one of the main actors head is shaped like an egg, if that doesn’t give it away then where have you been; I know not watching any good movies since he is in good movies, and one of the actors well both are my favorite actors and comedians. Any clue, if so guess in the comments.

Cars 2?!?

Friday, July 13th, 2007

Sources say that Pixar is working on a sequel to their original animated movie entitled “Cars” which was released back in June of ‘06. I personally have not seen the whole movie but have heard great tings about it, also seen bits and parts of it and of what I saw it seemed quit good. Also it had some good voices in it, for example Owen Wilson, I’ve always enjoyed most of his movies with his acting, and also Larry the Cable guy, just one hilarious man.

Anyways I can’t wait for this to come out, but it seems like I will have to since it is not suppose to come out till 2009 or later, but hey making good animation films takes time, lots of time. Also Pixar makes by far the greatest animated films of all time. Let’s se they created of course “Cars”, “Finding Nemo”, and “Toy Story” to just name a few great animatated films. They also have created some great short films as well. I also heard they are making some more sequels along with the maybe Cars 2; we will just have to wait and see what other sequels, and more great original animated films Pixar brings our way.

Harry Potter Makes Millions

Thursday, July 12th, 2007

Well I was flipping through the channels today on the tube and came across E! The Daily 10, I think it was or E! News, either way it was on E! Anyways they mentioned the new Harry Potter movie, along with many other things but I was partly asleep so I do not remember most of it, and said to have made a cool $44M in get this, one day! That is just outrageous, and they also said it is the most any movie did on a Wednesday. They also showed some clips of the lines at the midnight show and I just got to say wow, some people really love the Harry Potter series, and if you read my last post I do not. Whatever they love the series and it is something they love so why not.

Also since Harry Potter already made $44M its opening day I think this movie will be the number one at the box office this weekend. But isn’t that like any new big movie these day’s?

New Harry Potter In Theaters

Wednesday, July 11th, 2007

Well today is the day, the new Harry Potter movie hits the big screen. The new movie is entitled “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix”, and yeah it came out today. I really do not have much to say about this movie at all. I have not really been a fan of it. Don’t get me wrong I think the series has been alright and worth watching but I’m just not very enthused and want to see it. I probably will end up watching it, after it hits DVD or hits TV. But till then I will just watch some other better movies. I know the Harry Potter fans that may be reading this might be a little mad that I am not a big fan on the series, but whatever.

A reason why I am not a big fan of Harry Potter is that the writer of the book to me is just witting more because she spent all the money on the early books on multiple houses and needed money so why not just add to the HOT series and get money just because it is Harry Potter. But the Main reason why I am not a fan is that it really is not my type of movie, yes it has some action in it so it makes it alright. But the film doesn’t have my type of comedy, or action, or both in it to make it a great movie or series.

Basically I am going to wait on this one, but for all those that like the series more than I do and have gone to see it, was it good?
