Michael Bay’s new film “Transformers” came out a few days ago and has already done a great job at the box office, about $65M in two days during the week!, and with the fans. Most people enjoyed it, while others criticized it like they do with basically all movies they never liked from the begging, o well they just get the word out about the movie some more and most will check it out and see for them selves.
Anyways in a recent interview with Michael Bay and Entertainment Weekly he said he would love to do a sequel to “Transformers” because he had so many ideas that he wanted to do but didn’t get the chance to in this one. He also said he would not make it right away, if he even does, because he said he would not be ready, which is understandable since good movies take time.
Some people over at Cinematical blog sit said they would like to see a different director if a second Transformers came out, I just got to ask why? Yes I know with a different director he/she will bring hopefully some great new ideas to the screen, but they could also make the film worse and too much fake stuff in it and that right there is why I hope Bay will direct the next one since he has to be one of the greatest action movie directors. And if you are asking why, well he has real action, he tries to figure out how to make something happen instead of just paying computer people do all the work and have the actors be bored in front of a green screen. If you watched making of it or whatever on HBO people on the set and actors talked about Michael Bay and his great attitude and how he likes his movies to be real, and the actors said they loves being pushed to the limit and having to actually fear on the set because of actual action instead of actually acting the whole time.
Anyways that is just what I think, how do you guys feel about if Michael Bay directed the next Transformers, or would you like to see someone else direct it.
