In a nut shell it is a offline blogger application. You can create rich content to post on your blog, Wordpress, live spaces, Typepad, and along with many many more services out there. And basically it is a great FREE application, and if you are a serious blogger or like to type posts while not connected to the internet with this you can, and you can just click publish and it will post it on your blog.
Some cool features, well features I liked.

- Works with Wordpress
- Can create and publish rich content right from the application.
- Can preview it and edit it with the look of your blog. See picture to the right. (My wallpaper is Chuck & Larry)
- Nice spell check.
- Some plug ins. (Not many but what it comes with is nice, plus it is still in beta.
- Great editing featured, insert pictures, links, separators, maps, tables, tags, and a lot more.
- Preview the post on your site without publishing, really cool, even used if offline.
- Edit HTML so you can insert adsense code of whatever, there is also a plugin to do that as well. But you can preview it with it, probably because the plugin is on your wordpress and it is previewing it offline, oh well.
- Even set categories with this application and put a pass, slug on it, even trackbacks and excerpts.
- Can even set the date of publish.
- EDIT Also it even uploads pictures right to your server when you publish, that is if you added a picture off your computer like I did for the little screen shot.
There is so much more to this little program, and so far I love it! There is just so much you can do with it, it is a must for bloggers. So I highly recommend trying it out at least. I am still finding out some new features like the ping option, and will probably contineue to find some cool features in it and think Microsoft will add some new cool ones in the future of the program. So go here and download and try it. Plus this will mostly run faster than editing and writing posts with Wordpress, I know for me it does, especially when the server is a bit slow, or if the server restarts right when I click save and loose some text, with this I won’t.
Edit
Why do I find myself liking to post about blogging stuff? Oh and I love the little snip tool, very useful when I just want a snap shot of certain part of my screen, it is also one of my favorite tools in Vista. And yes it is a legal version of Vista, and I love it!
PS
Sorry Windows users only, not sure if they plan to make a Mac version, they may after Windows Beta, or you could always wait till Mac makes their own version, if they ever do.
