So I have been using Wordpress for a long time and loved it, still love it. I just don’t really feel like writing good length entries anymore. I thought I’d just make a new post of something cool I found on the internet. For example a cool little app, website, or video. But after thinking about that there’s a great service out there that does just that, and that is Tumblr. For those that do not know of what it is, well it is a micro blogging platform free of charge. It basically allows you to make a quick post about a link, pic, video, or quote. And to me it is pretty awesome if you do not like sharing everything on the internet but still like sharing something.
Anyways I am thinking of switching to Tumblr for this domain mainly because I don’t write much anymore. But then again I just bought Custom Css and domain mapping, it isn’t much but still. And I really don’t want to bother the people at Wordpress.com for a refund, plus I really don’t want once, I guess it is like a donation to them for all the great work they have done, well that is if I decide to leave.
So if you come back here and it says powered by Tumblr, well then you know I switched. Who knows I may end up switching back.

It will be interesting to see what you think of tumblr after you have used it for awhile. At this point I think no app compares to WP.
Yeah, i switched to Tumblr for the past week or so, it was nice because of the rss updates for things on do on other sites, digg, google reader. But sometimes I want to write actual posts about things so I decided to switch my domain back to wordpress and keep my tumblr.
Tumblr rules. I just made a new Tumblr theme and its available for download @ SkyLite.Tumblr.com.
