Just an awesome video of my friend from the other week. It was completely random, but luckly I had my camera turned out to catch this.

Well I’ve been browsing many blogs and reading up on my RSS list and a lot of blogs have been talking about Google’s Page Rank updates, well downgrades for most, and how Google is handling websites that do things against their own TOS. For example Google says no to: paid links, paid reviews, paid posts, link exchanging, spam, and many other things. Most of that i can agree but some great blogs get bitch slapped by Google because they use one or more of those things against their TOS but do not spam and that pisses me off because to me it sounds like Google is saying “Hey look at us, obey us, and only use our services, and only make money from our ad program Adsense, or get slapped by the mighty Magic Algorithm!” Yes that cuts down spam results in their search but it also deletes great blogs, Google may think, who cares they are just blogs not on Blogger. And I think that approach makes Google not the greatest thing ever. And here is a video from ShoeMoney, which I completely agree what he says about Google.

That said come on Google wake up, give people what they search for, ie I search John Chow I want to find John Chow’s blog which is JohnChow.com, not a review or an ad that has John Chow in it, but hey I have to give you some credit for finding it with johnchow.com in the search box but come on. Again Google come on be the number one search engine, use your dominance to your advantage and make a search engine and have the results that should be in it. And if you ban me for this then way to go, nice step forward. (being sarcastic)
Now what do I have to say about Google’s Magic Algorithm, well nothing, what I have to say is YAHOO! IT not Google it. That is right my homepage, and default search engine is Yahoo! Also it is my homepage because Yahoo main page has everything, yes it takes a little bit longer to load, but it is worth it to be able at a glance see what is hot. Also the home page has links to many other services I often use, ie Movies, Answers, and just Yahoo News in general. But I still use Google’s GMail because it is truly the best, free POP3 and now IMAP,
but i do use Yahoo mail from time to time but my main account is GMail.
So my question if what do you guys use, do you want what you look for or do you want what Google says you are looking for?
So I got bored the other day and tried to get a beta code over at Justin.tv and well guess what I did get one!
It is pretty cool except I didn’t have a web cam yet so I had to get one, so I did, not the greatest but an okay one that will do, also it came with some cool web cam effects.
Here I am live, that is if I’m broadcasting.
I will not be 24/7 since I will not go mobile, even thought my life is way more interesting when I am away from my computer or house., but I really do not want to get a laptop and a EVDO card and pay for the service. So I will just air it when I am at home. Most likely you will see me surfing the internet, updating this blog (like now), watching some tv or a movie, playing some games or just doing random things. But I may sometimes go live when I am gone if I know I will have a laptop and internet access and I may air it. Also I do not know how long I will continue to air since i will probably get annoyed with it but since I will not go 24/7 I think I’ll keep it awhile.
And for those who have an account already on there send a link in the comments or if you don’t yet, well then get one.
**Edit**
Yeah I’m done with that.

Well Digg is down at the moment, and this time it is good because they are adding features. The main feature people are talking about is the profile feature, it will be more of a social type of thing which is kinda cool but I hope they still keep the digg thing going. They are adding more, and probably more that they have not told us about so I can not wait till its back up so i can see all the cool new features. If you want to watch the vid or read more about the updates going on check their blog. Update
Digg back up!!!
Sorry for the lack of posts… again. I just get busy sometimes and don’t find time to get to this. One thing that has kept me busy is trying to catch up on some old Diggnation episodes. For all of you who that do not know about Diggnation is is basically a internet show/podcast of Digg founder Kevin Rose and actor Alex Albrecht that talks about some of the cool stories that hit Digg.com. It is a very cool, funny show, well that is if you are into tech and what not, if not then it might seem really boring. I’ve caught back up with some missed episodes just have one left I believe so that is one thing checked off to do. Oh yeah for those who also may have missed a show or two Kevin and Alex are shutting down Beers for Diggnation because they are getting beer sponsors, so if you want to buy them a beer go there now and get one before they close it.
Anyways Diggnation is pretty damn cool and all but there are some really cool shows, yes shows, on the Diggnation network and it is called Revision3.com. And for those who do not know what Revision3 is, well it is a internet TV network that shows shows on it, kind of like you tube but this site has regularly updated content from multiple shows with original content. And one of the other cool shows other than Diggnation is the Totally Rad Show and they talk about some geek news, movies, games, and some other things in their show and I love it since I am into most of the tings they talk about in it so I highly recommend you check it out.
There is also many other shows on the Revision3 network, but I have not looked at the other yet but they seem interesting, mos, if not all, talk about gizmos and tech so if your into that you will probably find at least one show there.
Also if you seem to become a huge fan of one of the shows check out their gear because they might have some cool Tees for you to buy and ware and support. Here are some pictures of fans wearing the shirts.
Wow, I guess chicks watch a little diggnation… cool. ![]()
Lucky son of a b!#$h
he got to meet Matt Damon, aka Jason Bourne.
Here is the latest from Diggnation, this is also the one I have yet to watch.

First off I am not in Seattle.
Anyways I was in study hall today and well I was bored so I got my Zune out and started listening to some tunes and I was looking at the back of the Zune and at the bottom it has the super small print about assembled in China and SN on it, you know the usual things on electronics. But there was something extra on the Zunes, something different you know what it is? Here is a hint it was words and about Microsoft. If you are thinking “Welcome to the social” you are wrong! Any more guesses? Well I guess I can tell those who don’t know. It says… “Hello from Seattle”, that is why the post is called “Hello Seattle”.
I thought it was pretty cool that Microsoft would add something completely random and kinda pointless to their Zune. But I guess it reinforces their phrase “Welcome to the Social” because they are greeting us from their home in Seattle. And for those who are wondering why I got a Zune instead of an iPod it is because at the time it was the best, iPod 5.5 was still out, 6g wasn’t yet. Plus Zune offered many features I wanted that iPod could not offer. One big seller point was it could hook up to my Xbox 360 and stream music, pics, and even watch videos off the Zune to my TV. Another reason was the bigger screen to watch the occasional video, plus it had better battery life too. There are many other features that I still love about the Zune, just the overall product is nice.
Source: Pic from Engadget Reason was because I can not find my digital camera and my camera phone takes horrible pictures with the 1.3 mp camera.
In a nut shell it is a offline blogger application. You can create rich content to post on your blog, Wordpress, live spaces, Typepad, and along with many many more services out there. And basically it is a great FREE application, and if you are a serious blogger or like to type posts while not connected to the internet with this you can, and you can just click publish and it will post it on your blog.
Some cool features, well features I liked.
There is so much more to this little program, and so far I love it! There is just so much you can do with it, it is a must for bloggers. So I highly recommend trying it out at least. I am still finding out some new features like the ping option, and will probably contineue to find some cool features in it and think Microsoft will add some new cool ones in the future of the program. So go here and download and try it. Plus this will mostly run faster than editing and writing posts with Wordpress, I know for me it does, especially when the server is a bit slow, or if the server restarts right when I click save and loose some text, with this I won’t.
Edit
Why do I find myself liking to post about blogging stuff? Oh and I love the little snip tool, very useful when I just want a snap shot of certain part of my screen, it is also one of my favorite tools in Vista. And yes it is a legal version of Vista, and I love it!
PS
Sorry Windows users only, not sure if they plan to make a Mac version, they may after Windows Beta, or you could always wait till Mac makes their own version, if they ever do.
Been busy but found some time to write this, I will write a bunch of posts this weekended to make it up. Anyways basically I do have some new maybe that I will post about tomorrow, it may even be a contest but shh it may be a secret.
Also I will be getting rid of PPP (PayperPost) reason being is that I could not find any good posts I could write, even ones I can not not apply for were not that great, well some were but had nothing to deal with my blog so it will be gone. But I do recommend it since it can be an alright tool if you can not get into ReviewMe. You can read more about PPP in my first PPP post.
Also I got AuctionAds, it’s the very small ad below each post, I’m hoping it ill just so DVD’s and players or even TV’s. But if I find that it doesn’t show those things it will be gone also, I like to have my ads related to my blog and as discrete as ads can be. Also since I like to experiment with ad programs and how to monetize a blog I may start up a secondary blog about it, but this one comes first. Oh and AuctionAds is have a deal were all new accounts and recently approved accounts get a $25 instantly, and payouts now at $50 instead of $25, and affiliates get 5% now instead of 3%. It seems like AuctionAds is improving and getting better and better.
Well for all the internet savvy people I’m sure you all know of Justin.tv, and for all of those that do not well it is basically a site that streams lifecasts (video of peoples lives, some 24/7). And it was originally created by Justin along with some friends and an investor or two, and was just an idea he decided to run with and so far its been great for him it seems like. That site is receiving more and more viewers all the time, especially when he added more stations to his programs. For in particular is iJustine, she has drawn many viewers to her page, and most of the time had the most of the viewers than any other channel, including Justin.
Well today I went to Yahoo and guess who made front page again? Yes it was Justine, first was her viral video of her iPhone bill, and now she is the “hottest lifecaster” which I thin most can agree with, if no well okay then we all have our personal opinions. So after that I went to their site and guess what theres was a total of over 2,000 viewers and Justine had over 1,300 of them, mostly because of Yahoo, at first that was pretty damn cool and excited for Justin.tv and Justine, but after seeing the chat window, I left, since there is so many viewers, it has become mainstream so basically that means a-holes and spammers. But hey I can always go back to another channel and enjoy a slower passed chat with real people.
I personally find myself watching some channels on Justin.tv, not much maybe 10 mins a day, or none. If I do get to the site I mostly just browse the channels and find something interesting to watch, either Justin, iJustine, or TibTie have something good to watch. When one is busy with their work there is mostly another channel to watch. For example Just does a lot, recently he got a Sports Bike and we got to see him learn how to ride it, on Justine’s we get to watch her go to blog camps and take a test drive in a smart car, and on TibTie we get to see Optimus Prime.
Also I think TibTie has one of the best channels on there so please if you check out the site check out their stream.
Oh yeah almost forgot Justin and his crew released the new homepage, it was the beta channel viewer but now it is officially the new home page. here is a little look at it, the Apple users may recognize the look of it and will like it, I know i do, it makes it easy to surf the popular streams, plus they still have the directory of all of them to all the streams. Do any of you guys watch any Justin.tv?
Well I did not get a chance to go see this movie while it was in theaters but wanted to since it looked insanely good, and after seeing it now it was totally worth the wait.
And here is a little story on what all happened before I got the DVD. First once I could reserve it I did of course so it was on my queue list for some time but by the time it came out on DVD I forgot about it and did not return one of my DVDs soon enough so I had to wait, and wait. Forgot about it again till I went to the mail and saw a NetFlix in there and hoping it was shooter but no luck. But then a few days ago I got it! i opened it and guess what?!?! The DVD was cracked clean through, and I was like nooooo!
So I had to return and wait a couple more days and I got it the other day and watched it, and I must say it is an amazing movie, and I think I will watch it again tonight. I will probably get a review of it soon so check back. Oh and for those who have not seen it yet, you have to go to Hollywood Video or get it in NetFlix now, that is if you like a great action movie. Also check out my post from awhile ago to see the Shooter trailer.
And for those who have seen it, what do you think about it?
