So luckily I found myself looking through a JohnCow.com and found out about their big content they are having. This contest would not exist if their web hosting provider was not so cool because they are the best ever since they are giving away a seal. Viddlerness
Sunday, August 12th, 2007Well I have been searching and trying out some new video hosts and I must say I am very impressed by Viddler. I have tried other, YouTube (too mainstream and huge so people are just basically numbers) Vimeo (cool but restrictive) and Revver (liked it but the ads do get annoying).
Anyways on to why I like Viddler, well theres so much, and probably more once I figure it all out. Anyways one thing is the huge file size limit which is 500mb which is very cool especially if I ever make a big video or high quality video and want to share it with the great Viddler crowd, another reason why I like it too. The comment and tips in video is really cool and unique. Fast encoding and progress bar for both uploading and encoding is really cool and useful so you don’t have to guess when your video will be done completely.

River Riot 07 *Updated With Pics*
Sunday, August 12th, 2007Well about a week ago I went to a concert and I must say it was kickass. This concert is held by a local radio station 89.7 the River and have this concert every year, but of course with different bands that rock. They also hold many more concerts through out the year and have great talk shows and music on their radio station.
This year at River Riot 07 the line up was great, way better than last year, even though my favorite band was there. Also I saw my favorite band again earlier this month at a concert so it was all good. Anyways here is the band line up: Fuel, Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Hinder, and non other than INCUBUS! There were about one or two more but I wasn’t there for them and can’t remember their name sorry.
All I can say was that it was insane. And Oh yeah it was SOLD OUT!, we sold out a firkin outdoor amphitheater, no seats, it is just one huge general admission and wow there were so many people, I’ll have some pictures at the end of the post. It started about 2 PM and I got there about 3, just in time for some Fuel. Then wait for Buckcherry to get all ready and they were pretty good, not my favorite but still good, specially their hit song named “Crazy B&*#h”, it just has a great tune to it, give it a listen on iTunes or whatever, or better yet request it at your local radio station if they will play it even. 
Then I think while they were playing a plane with a banner on it went around several times with the banner saying something about Asian Albion’s released a new CD on MySpace, and I was like wow, nice name then forgot about them and never went to their site since they don’t sound like a great band with that name, that is probably why they are still on MySpace haha.
Next up after them were Papa Roach! They were insane, I mist them a couple years ago at River Riot 05 but I got to see them this year and they are great live, and I love their music. Then after them Hinder got on stage, and they had a very elaborate set up even though they only have one big album, I guess they got a huge check from their contract and decided to invest a lot in the stage stuff, they also some great songs and good live. Also the lead singer from Papa Roach came back on stage and helped Hinder with “Bourne to be Wild” and that was insane.
After them the head lining band took the stage and their name is… Incubus! They are kickass live. Plus they have so many great songs to play for the crowd, and the lead singer kept thanking us for being such a great crowd, and kept saying thanks boys and girls haha, which is pretty cool since he knows he would not be there without us, the fans. They played their songs, then came back out and played their encore song and the concert was over at about 11:30 or so. But diffidently not the end of this story, oh no sir y.
Now we get to the after the concert story. Well first parking there sucks, it is basically one exit for each parking lot, field, onto a one lane two way highway. So basically we did not get out fast enough since we wanted to hear all of Incubus we got stuck in the lot and just decided to wait for everyone else to leave just to make it easier. So we sat there and waited and listen to some music for about three hours. When basically the whole lot was cleared we started to get going but the battery was dead, we kind of forgot about the battery when we left the CD player on listening to music that whole time. So while my bro looked for cables I stayed by the car, and out of no where this drunk dude staring running down the hill towards the car and slowed right before me and hugged me and I was like what the.. and he told me before I get going take a moment and pry for everyone so we all get home safely and I was like sure and he wondered off, stupid 20s people and their drunkenness haha. So we looked for people with jumper cables, even asked a cop, they did not have any, then we found someone with cables but no gas, so we found someone to jump us yay for him. Then the people who gave us the cables we returned the favor and gave them a ride to a gas station, then we went home, but we were hungry so we went to Taco Bell at about 2 AM good thing they are open till three, then we went home and I ate the good food watch a bit of TV and went to bed.
Now for pictures! Well I personally did not take any pictures since they don’t allow great cameras in unless your press so I am just going to wait for pictures from 89.7 The River to post some. But I will post a few that I have found on the internet, which is basically one.

Great Video Host?

Anyways as the title reads I’m looking for a great video hosting site, and yes I know of YouTube, but to me Youtube just gets annoying since it has so many users that just b$%ch about every thing and get mad at other comments and stuff, also I’m not into all the copyrighted stuff on it, some are hilarious and YouTube said they are working out something to stop basically all stolen content from even getting on their servers, who knows if it will even work.
So basically I am looking for a video hosting site that has a great community on it, it doesn’t have to be a large community either. Some sites that I have been looking through are: Revver, Vimeo, and Viddler. I am also open to others, so if you have any personal experience on any of those sites or others and like to share please do, because I would love to know what you think about your video hosting sites.

The Kill Point
Friday, July 27th, 2007There is a new TV show that was first aired last wee and it is called “The Kill Point”, it is on Spike TV, for you Cox readers out there thats channel 29, and for the rest you should all know cause it is Spike. For the ones that have yet to see this great show it is basically a group of guys returned home after serving their country in Iraq and come home to crap so they decide to pull off a great bank heist and well it goes bad. And that right there is where the series starts.
This show right here is amazing. There is always something going on, Fedz trying to get in and take hostages, the robbers trying to stay alive and trying to figure out how to get free, theres just always something dramatic, or action filled. I must also say the actors and actresses are pretty damn good, you just have to watch it and see for yourself.
After seeing the first episode and found out the name of it I realized that I have been seeing the making of it before on someone else’s blog site, she does not show much of the making but some funny behind the scenes clips. And the person I am talking about is the internet aka Justine, or iJustine if you must. First I was wondering how she got in, but then I watched the show and on the news station in the show it has Pittsburgh in the bottom of the TV, and I was like wow, thats cool, and she lives probably right near where they were filming it. Anyways she has many videos and here is my favorite of the ones she shares.
She has plenty more, and diffidently more hilarious little fun clips, for example she has one where she steals and tries on a fireman’s boots and puts them back, and one where she steals a kids happy meal toy, shes a meany. :lol And oh yeah I can’t forget the Mario guy, very funny interview.

Well today is of course the 4th of July, one of the greatest days ever in the history of man! Well I think today is pretty kickass. Today of course America Won their independence or it was official we were independent. So now we can do basically what we want when we want. And I bet a lot of my fellow Americans will be blowing random s#%t up today, I know I will. 
Anyways happy 4th to all and happy Canadian Day, which was on July 1st, to all my Canadian readers out there, but mostly happy 4th.
Now I’m off to blow s#%t up for the day so probably no new posts today, I will probably come in here and put up some pictures or some videos later If i take any.

Okay I am finally updated this to show you what happened on my fourth. The whole description is in the video but we also had a couple 140 shot roman candles as well, and and what do you guys spot at about 4:48?

Happy B-Day To…
Monday, July 16th, 2007…ME!!! Yeah today is my b-day. I guess it is all right, nothing spectacular, but I feel like this every holiday, I never seem to get too enthused about stuff.
I’m not sure what I am going to do today, may go see a movie like “Knocked Up” since I don’t have to sneak in anymore , and then I don’t know what, I guess I’ll just be out for the day. But I will update at least one more time today because I want to psyche everyone up for a movie that I can’t wait for it to come out, and to me the most intisipated movie of the summer. It is… Well I’ll just have you all wait. But I will give you all a hint and you can guess in the comments. The hint is that it has been awhile since he has made a real comedy, and one of the main actors head is shaped like an egg, if that doesn’t give it away then where have you been; I know not watching any good movies since he is in good movies, and one of the actors well both are my favorite actors and comedians. Any clue, if so guess in the comments.
Twitterness
Monday, July 9th, 2007So basically I said I wouldn’t get a twitter account, but one day I just felt like it and I must say it is pretty amazing, also it is very simple and nothing to distract you at all, which can be good and bad, but mostly good.
The other day when I finally decided to get a twittr account after seeing so many people, including iJustine, I decided why not get my very own. But when I decided on getting on an account I had to decide between twitter and the new Pownce, who Kevin Rose help create. By a first glance pownce looks way better and wanted that. But then after some searching and reading some blogs about it and most said it is personal reference, and where your friends were at. Also Pownce may look cooler but can’t be updated from your mobile through Internet or SMS, which to me is cool if you’re on the go and want to tell the world something. But Pownce had groups and could share files, but only a small size for free accounts and large size for paid premium accounts, to me that is not a big deal anyways since I can do all that through gmail anyways. A feature in Pownce that I did like was that you could send invites to friends, and only your friends, which is very cool, so for instance there is a party or something going on or I want to do I could easily tell all my friends about it, well that is if they have a Pownce account if not well then I can’t. Also since Pownce is so new people can only be invited to people already on Pownce to make an account and only is the server allows them to, and to m sometimes it sucks to wait just to get an account for something I do not know much about. Also on Pownce there are too many things to distract you from what I want to tell people what I am up to. So that right there is why I choose Twittwer, it is simple and clean and has a whole bunch of people on it, so if you just want to tell people what you are up to through your browser or on the go with your mobile Twitter is the way to go in my opinion.
